We are honored that Melinda Mandell Interior Design was selected to participate in “Where Hope Has a Home” at the Stanford Ronald McDonald House. Our firm designed and furnished two guest suites and a sitting room — environments tailored to reduce stress and support healing. The expanded center is now the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world.
This project is very close to Melinda’s heart, as she was hospitalized at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford when she was young. She is overjoyed to give back, working pro-bono with this renowned charity to design spaces where children and parents can heal together.
We could not have made this project a reality without our generous sponsors, who donated and discounted furnishings and fixtures. In addition, many individual donors came forward to join the cause, and complete the rooms. All donations went directly to durable, colorful, and comfortable pieces. Our sponsors and donors have our enduring thanks for believing in our ability to create safe, nurturing, and healing spaces for the families at RMHS!
